The Sky Clears

And
with the night
comes moonlight

Promise of
a new day.

I like this. It sounds nice and hopeful. Like something better will come. A new day. :)

Oh, and I have made honey-peanut butter sandwiches now and they tasted just lovely. =)

Dusk and dawn are my favourite times of the day, when the world is silent and the clouds are heavy. When nature is at it's most poetic.

Beautiful poem, thanks for sharing

i like this ... it captures in a different way the poem you liked on my blog ... don't know what it is, but it's at night time i always feel more hopeful. daytime is when i shed tears. night time - always has more possibilities. so glad hopper invited you to our chain poem experiment - please do take part (i feel like i'm a little girl again, asking someone to come and play hopscotch with us .... ha ha!)

Jenny - There's always hope!
Also, I am glad that you enjoyed the amazing peanut butter and honey combo. My plan to take over the world via peanut butter and honey is beginning to work...muah hahahaaa.

Hopper - I'll be catching you on the flop side ;)

Pixie - Beautiful comment...poetic.

Honour - Yes, I always feel better in the evening...and when it's cloudy outside...I think there might be something wrong with us.
I would love to play hopscotch..er, chain poem writing...with you guys!

Short and sweet and to the point.
I'd like to print this out and put ot over my desk so when I'm struggling, I'll look up and smile.

I really like this. Like others before me have said, it's full of hope. A new day holds so many possibilities, so many opportunities... There's always the chance that things could get a tiny bit better.
